Georgia negotiates London-Tbilisi direct flight resumption

Georgia’s Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili, addressed the prospect of resuming direct flights between London and Tbilisi during a meeting with Easyjet.

According to the Ministry, the meeting concluded that the reintroduction of direct flights would increase international travel.

In London, at the World Travel Market 2022, a top forum for the global travel business, the Deputy Minister met with colleagues from many countries, as well as representatives from major media outlets, airlines, and the tourist sector.

WTM London has around 5,000 exhibitors from 182 countries and regions and over 51,000 participants.
