Georgia leads in index of small and medium-size entrepreneur policy index
Georgia leads in the index of small and medium-size entrepreneur policy index of Eastern Partnership countries based on the research carried out by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
According to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Georgia is in the first place in the rating. Georgia received the best evaluation in 9 indicators out of 12. The country’s rating points were improved in 11 indicators in comparison to 2018.
The report was presented at the working meeting of OECD in Paris. The governmental delegations of Eastern Partnership countries attended the meeting. Ekaterine Mikabadze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Director of Produce in Georgia Agency Mikheil Khidureli represented the Georgian delegation.
The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development is an intergovernmental economic organization with 36 member countries, founded in 1961 to stimulate economic progress and world trade.
