Finance Minister participates in OECD high-level panel discussion

Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili took part in the OECD’s 15th annual Tax Transparency and Information Exchange Global Forum panel discussion in Seville, Spain.

The Finance Minister, accompanied by Deputy Finance Minister Mamuka Baratashvili and Tax and Customs Policy Department Head Marine Khurtsidze, discussed post-pandemic economic issues, Georgia’s engagement with the global forum, and the country’s reforms.

Since 2011, Georgia has been a member of the Tax Transparency and Information Exchange Global Forum, effectively introducing the standards developed by this platform.

The Global Forum brings together 165 countries, including the G20 and all the members of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development.
