Effective today, seasonal flu vaccination has started across Georgia, the NCDC Acting Director, Tamar Gabunia, announced at the press point.
Under the state program, Georgia has already secured 200,000 doses of French-produced quadrivalent influenza vaccine (Sanofi Pasteur), which is among the WHO-recommended jabs, Gabunia went on.
The flu jab will be free for the at-risk groups.
An annual flu vaccination is advised before the influenza season begins.
