Georgia-Hungary Intergovernmental Summit scheduled in Budapest for June 11
Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will undertake an official visit to Hungary on June 11-12, according to a statement from the Georgian Prime Minister’s press service.
On June 11, an official welcoming ceremony for the Georgian Prime Minister will be held at the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Palace. Subsequently, Prime Minister Kobakhidze will meet face-to-face with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. The two leaders will engage in bilateral negotiations involving their respective Cabinets of Ministers.
As part of the visit, the second session of the Georgia-Hungary Intergovernmental Commission will take place in Budapest. During this session, agreements covering cooperation in agriculture, energy, culture, innovation, and sports are expected to be signed. A joint press conference is planned after the Intergovernmental Commission meeting.
Additionally, Prime Minister Kobakhidze will meet with Hungarian President Tamás Šuyok and László Kovár, the Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly, the Georgian Prime Minister’s office reported.
