“Georgia has a bit of a tragic experience with Russia,” said Polish President Andrzej Duda at the joint briefing held together with Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili.

“Georgia has a bit of a tragic experience with Russia. It is also very important to me that the President has made her position very clear on this issue. It is very important for our joint consultations to make more efforts in this regard because it is of great importance for the security of Ukraine. We express our solidarity and for us in general, all issues related to security are very important. We are very pleased that we talked about these issues,” he said.

Andrzej Duda noted that the continuation of joint consultations was significant. He thanked President Zourabichvili for the talks and added he would be holding further discussions with foreign partners in the coming days both in Brussels and Berlin.

President of Poland Andrzej Duda arrived in Tbilisi with an unexpected visit last night. He stopped in Georgia for several hours before leaving for Beijing, China. Polish President met his Georgian counterpart Salome Zourabichvili at the Tbilisi International Airport.
