Georgia First members protests Franklin Club’s anniversary event 

Representatives of the civil movement “Georgia First” are protesting the Franklin Club’s two-year anniversary event in Tbilisi.

The movement member Vato Shakarishvili says the club promotes anti-state activities, “which is unacceptable for part of the society.” He claims that the protest is peaceful.

Several opposition party leaders will address the event, including Strategy Agmashenebeli, Lelo, and European Georgia.

According to event participants, the rally has a political purpose and is controlled by the government.
