Georgia Border Police detains Danish flagged ship for breaking navigation rules

The Border Police Coast Guard Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) seized a Sten Neptun ship sailing under the Danish flag in Georgian territorial waters for violating navigation norms.

The ship’s owner, a Polish citizen, will be fined GEL 50,000 under the Georgian Code of Administrative Law Violations.

After paying the fine, the ship will be free to sail.
