Georgia and Peru signed a visa-free travel agreement. Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili and Ana Cecilia Gervasi Díaz, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Peru, inked the document within the framework of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
At the meeting, the two foreign ministers discussed bilateral and multilateral cooperation prospects and highlighted the significance of cooperation in political, trade-economic, cultural and education spheres.
According to the Georgian Foreign Affairs Ministry, the parties agreed to work actively to develop bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially in sharing the experience of Georgia’s successful reforms in state services.
