Gemo Fest to be held on February 24-25 in Mestia

The National Tourism Administration is organizing a two-day culinary festival, Gemo Fest, in Mestia, Svaneti, to promote gastrotourism in the region. The event will feature an entrepreneurial market and music spaces. This festival, in its fourth edition, has become a tradition, showcasing local entrepreneurs and contributing to tourism development.

The domestic and international travelers are expected to attend the festival. The Gemo Fest aims to promote Georgia as a gastro-tourism destination, and international media will be present to cover the event.

During the festival, guests will have the opportunity to taste rare and lesser-known traditional Svan dishes prepared by local chefs. The Fest is part of an initiative to support local cuisine, boost entrepreneurship, and attract more domestic and international travelers to different regions of Georgia.
