GD's Tsilosani: President Zourabichvili reveals Western embassies influenced opposition's independent signing of Georgian Charter
“President Zourabichvili claimed that the opposition signed the Georgian Charter independently, but in reality, it was widely understood that they were influenced by the embassies of Western countries,” asserted MP Nino Tsilosani, Chairwoman of the Agrarian Committee.
“Within just 65 seconds, Salome Zourabichvili revealed numerous insights, suggesting that the opposition presented various narratives, including the assertion that they decided to sign the Charter independently. However, it was clear to everyone that their actions were driven by the influence of Western embassies, including Giorgi Gakharia, the leader of the For Georgia party, who also joined the initiative.
Zourabichvili’s statement raises questions about the extent to which the opposition makes decisions and how her own actions align with external directives. Ultimately, it is the Georgian people who will determine the significance of all these developments,” she concluded.
