“No one has accused Tornike Rizhvadze of corruption, and certainly not of patronising drug traffickers. These allegations, which we have seen publicly, originate from the side of the UNM media and UNM’s journalists,” stated Mamuka Mdinaradze, the Executive Secretary of the Georgian Dream and leader of the parliamentary majority, addressing journalists.

As Mdinaradze emphasised, Tornike Rizhvadze has contributed immensely to the development of Adjara.

“Tornike Rizhvadze is not at all concerned with what TV Pirveli has said, nor does he pay attention to the attacks against him. I want to stress that I do not even remember the specific accusations they made—yet I will certainly respond to such arrogant claims and plan to do so by the evening. We will provide all the evidence and explanations regarding the attacks from UNM’s media against him.

Tornike Rizhvadze is a dedicated member of our team who has achieved a great deal for Adjara. No one has accused him of corruption. Moreover, there are no credible allegations of him protecting drug traffickers, despite what some UNM’s media and UNM’s journalists have publicly claimed,” Mamuka Mdinaradze reaffirmed.
