GD’s Mdinaradze slams EU visa threat as “immoral blackmail”

“If you don’t submit to us, refuse to abandon peace and family values, and don’t support our agents, we’ll revoke your visa liberalisation. This is an extremely immoral form of blackmail that they’re not even trying to hide anymore,” writes parliamentary majority leader and Georgian Dream faction chairman Mamuka Mdinaradze on social media.

According to Mdinaradze, Georgia and the Georgian people will never, under any circumstances, surrender their freedom.

If we decide to overcome you and treat you unjustly, it will be your fault – the ‘culmination of democratic achievements’ of the first quarter of the 21st century.
