“The Report of the OSCE Fact-Finding Mission under Moscow Mechanism directly copied the message box of the collective National Movement. Then this paper was inked by an individual, who was receiving instructions from the Polish government,” said Levan Machavariani, a member of the Georgian Dream party.

According to Machavariani, the government remembers the Polish government’s official standpoint in support of jailed ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili.

“We have heard from them many times that during the time of Mikheil Saakashvili, democracy flourished in our country, while they criticize the Georgian Dream democracy backsliding. Accordingly, a logical chain has been established, everything was already prepared, the report copied the message box of the collective National Movement and was inked by an individual, who was receiving instructions from the Polish government,” he said.

Responding to a question from a journalist on the possibility of the case’s submission to the Hague Court, Mikheil Machavariani noted that Georgian Dream feels comfortable in international courts.

“I will remind everyone of our Prime Minister’s statement that we are open, any international institution can arrive, and we will share with them all investigation materials. Neither resolutions nor direct menacing or pressure will produce a result,” he stated.
