GD’s Levan Machavariani: UNM members strive for coming to power

“A natural and artificial process is going on in the United National Movement. These people hate each other; they are not united around one idea but only strive for coming into power,” said Levan Machavariani, a member of the Georgian Dream (GD) party.

According to Machavariani, Georgian society has already drawn a conclusion.

“The UNM members offend each other. This is an artificial process brewed in the minds of their masters that implies distancing Lelo and Gakharia from this noise, since they bet on these parties in the 2028 elections.

External actors are attempting to create the impression that the uproar is confined solely to that UNM faction , while Lelo and Gakharia are portrayed as independent parties. Regardless of the configuration proposed by the external forces whom these agents serve, the society has drawn a conclusion,” he said.
