GD’s Kirtskhalia: Government pursues clearing political field from agents as per society’s demand
“October 1 was a day of big victory. The question has been raised recently as to what needs to be brought to an end; I want to state, on behalf of the entire team, that the presence of agent networks in politics in this country must end once and for all,” said Irakli Kirtskhalia, a member of the Georgian Dream party.
According to Kirtskhalia, Georgian society wishes the political field to be cleared of agents and their place taken over by the parties, which are in opposition to other parties instead of their own country.
“The Georgian political field should be cleared of agents. The agents should not exist or have a future. We gained the clearest understanding of the political path they have traversed and their underlying aspirations starting in 2022. Therefore, when discussing the political future of these parties, let us await the Constitutional Court’s ruling.
Our goals and the society’s order are that the Georgian political field should be cleared of agents and their place be taken by healthy opposition parties, which will be opponents of other parties instead of their country, which they did when in power and then being in the opposition,” he said.
