GD's Davituliani: Georgia deserves to be EU candidate country

“We are waiting for the [EU candidate] status that we deserve,” Beka Davituliani, a member of the ruling Georgian Dream party, said.

“Georgia deserves to be a candidate country,” he asserted.

“Georgia, in comparison to all others [Moldova, Ukraine], deserves a status, and I hope they will give it to us. Europe needs a stronghold in the Caucasus like Georgia,” Davituliani added.
