GD Tsilosani: UNM warns of possible fatal accidents during rallies, protesters should take this noteworthy
The international secretary of the opposition United National Movement party announced the possibility of a fatal accident during these rallies. This is the most noteworthy aspect for the people who participated in the protest, stated Nino Tsilosani, a parliamentary majority member, while commenting on the UNM member Zurab Tchiaberashvili’s statement.
“National Movement utilizes every tool according to Akerman’s strategy, which includes following revolutionary scenarios to those in Maidan and other directives they received from Akerman.
Law enforcement officers spare no effort to maintain security and avoid confrontation with protest participants as much as possible. Officers were even positioned inside the Parliament building to prevent any tragic scenarios from escalating on their initiative.
I urge everyone, including the UNM representatives and its affiliated parties, to take responsibility for the events they organize. I also call on the protest participants to understand that they are being manipulated as instruments of certain political actors,” said Tsilosani.
Zurab Tchiaberashvili, a member of the United National Movement, stated during the Formula TV program: “We are crossing a very fragile line if there is a fatal accident of any kind, no one knows what form the events in our country will take.”
