The ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party presented a draft resolution on Georgia’s EU integration process during today’s Bureau sitting.
“Georgia had declared EU integration as per its Constitutional objective and goal. We believe that amid certain actions regarding EU membership prospects, we have to work on a resolution project,” said Maka Bochorishvili, Chairwoman of the parliamentary European Integration Committee.
The draft resolution will be initiated after it undergoes related procedures and consultations.
The opposition For Georgia party urged the government to officially apply for Georgia’s fast-track EU membership.
