GD, NGOs meet over Public Defender election procedures

The ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party and NGOs are holding a meeting in the Parliament on the election of the Public Defender.

GD MP Mikheil Sarjveladze believes that “listening to NGOs’ ways of conducting elections is important.”

“Until 1 September, we will present the public defender election procedures, which will be the fairest, balanced, effective and inclusive process,” Sarjveladze added.
