The ruling Georgian Dream party’s MP Rati Ionatamishvili tagged the comment spread on the social network allegedly made by Mamuka Mdinaradze, GD Faction Chair, regarding the cruise liner as “fake.”

According to Ionatamishvili, Mdinaradze has not made a statement regarding the liner at all. However, “they still share the half-hour fake story with all seriousness and worry,” he said.

“In fact, this shows two things – one, that they are building their own agenda on fake news, and second, that if they don’t make something up, they have nothing to do. At the same time, they do it ungrammatically and poorly.

But exactly such tasteless fake things show best who is focused on business and who is focused on slander and lies,” Ionatamishvili stated.

A cruise ship with Russian citizens on board arrived in Batumi port from Sochi on June 27. The cruise ship left the port following a protect of Georgian citizens.
