Nino Tsilosani, MP of the Georgian Dream (GD) party echoed the arrest warrant against Russian President Vladimir Putin by the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the social network.
“The opposition speakers were excited by the ICC decision yesterday but nobody mentioned that Georgia was among the 38 countries, which joined the appeal on the launch of a probe for war crimes by Russia (Moldova did not join the appeal). This warrant is the result of this probe! Traditionally, the radical opposition speculates with this issue,” Tsilosani said.
The Hague-based International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant against Russian President Vladimir Putin accusing him of committing war crimes in Ukraine.
