GD MP believes opposition misinforms Georgia's allies

Georgian Dream (GD) MP Givi Mikanadze lambasted opposition party leaders for misinforming Georgia’s foreign allies when commenting on the recent visit of Strategy Aghmashenebeli and Girchi – More Freedom leaders Giorgi Vashadze and Zurab Japaridze to Brussels.

“They conduct anti-country actions. They do not participate in the 12-point plan implementation procedure,” he stated.

Mikanadze went on to say that all attempts had failed and had just harmed the opposition.

“The public and partners can clearly observe how the Georgian Dream-inspired plan is progressing. It is goal-oriented in order for Georgia to meet its obligations by the end of the year. Our partners are kept up to date on the developments in the Georgian parliament,” Givi Mikanadze claimed.

Giorgi Vashadze and Zurab Japaridze, leaders of the opposition Strategy Aghmashenebeli and Girchi – More Freedom parties, visited Brussels on October 19-21. At the joint briefing, they stated that the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party has no political will to implement the EC’s proposed 12-point priorities and that the assessment mission would not arrive in Georgia in December.
