GD members to meet rapporteurs on Georgia

Members of the parliamentary majority, Irakli Chikovani and Irakli Kobakhidze, will meet with the Monitoring Committee rapporteurs for Georgia in Strasbourg today to discuss the fulfilment of EC-proposed 12-point recommendations.

According to Givi Mikanadze, the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party member, facts-based progress in the fulfilment of priorities, namely de-oligarchization law and court reforms, will be reviewed at the meeting.

“We expect positive feedback. This will bring more clarity to the implementation of the taken commitments,” Mikanadze said.

GD Chair Irakli Kobakhidze and the parliamentary delegation comprising Vice-Speaker Archil Talakvadze, and MPs Irakli Chikovani, Khatia Tsilosani, Givi Mikanadze and Eka Sepiashvili are visiting Strasbourg.
