“The ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party held bilateral consultations with almost all opposition parties,” the leader of the parliamentary majority, Irakli Kobakhidze, said on Wednesday.
“The diplomats requested Georgian Dream to hold consultations,” MP noted.
“Bilateral consultations were held with almost all parties, except for one or two. At least five opposition parties participated in the meetings. We will carry on to do so and wait for the fifth round of talks to see where the process is developing,” Kobakhidze said.
The opposition parties/blocs that passed the 1% election threshold refuse to enter the parliament. The opposition believes the elections were rigged.
