At the same time, Irakli Kobakhidze said the fact that the friends of Georgia are interested in such facts is indeed natural.

“It is natural that our friends are interested in such facts. If there are even signs that someone is surveilling someone illegally, of course, our friends would have got interested, and so they did. Everything should be made clear, who leaked what, what was authentic, how true this information is and so on. You know the general assessments of this fact from us. As for the Ambassador’s statement, I am not a diplomat and may not entirely understand these issues, but I think the diplomatic standards were slightly missed, especially during this pre-election period,” Kobakhidze said.
