GD Chair says ruling team did its best to fulfil EC's 12 recommendations

The parliamentary majority, the ruling team, did its best to fulfil the EC’s 12-point recommendations, said Irakli Kobakhidze, Chair of the Georgian Dream (GD) party.

Kobakhidze said a meeting was scheduled with non-governmental organizations for Tuesday, with the participation of the EU Ambassador and Diplomatic Corps, to discuss the recommendations in detail.

“This meeting is significant to discuss the key foreign political priority for the country, EU integration. At the meeting, we will speak about candidate status, fulfilment of 12 points and all those steps which should be taken on the EU integration path,” Kobakhidze said.

The GD Chair added that the parliamentary majority members would report on each point and that a discussion with NGOs would follow the presentation.
