GD Chair says destruction, disorder main issues for opposition

“The opposition learns postfactum that something was added to the law. This confirms that they are not engaged in the parliamentary work,” said Irakli Garibashvili, Chair of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party.

According to the GD Chair, destruction and disorder are the main issues for the opposition. 

“The opposition is represented in the parliament in quite a variety of forms, there are many parties, and at this time, as you tell me and we have heard the statements, it turns out that they find out postfactum that something has been added to the law. 

This is absurd, where were they and why did not they react? This means that they are not engaged in the parliamentary work, their main issues are destruction and disorder, craziness and chaos which they introduce. 

I’m not aware of the details, but from what we’ve heard, it’s clear that they are complaining about something. It is a problem that there was no discussion and, unfortunately, now we have to discuss the already adopted law,” he said.
