GD Chair: On 26 October, country should celebrate strong, historic victory

The Chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream party, Iraki Garibashvili, on Sunday, said the party must win the elections “convincingly and without giving any excuses to the destructive anti-state opposition and internal and external enemies of our country,” and on 26 October the country should celebrate “a strong, historic victory.”

During his meeting in Kutaisi, western Georgia, Garibashvili noted that “Georgian voters have to make a very clear choice between Georgian Dream and Bidzina Ivanishvili and anti-national hostile divided forces.”

“Today, I’d want to congratulate you on the birthday of our first president, Mr. Zviad Gamsakhurdia, and the day of the referendum that resulted in the restoration of our country’s independence. During the meeting, we discussed a variety of issues. Everything is certain in the country; nothing is unclear anymore,” Garibashvili stated.
