GD Chair hopes of no war in Ukraine

“The situation in Ukraine is alarming. Intervention threat has increased,” said Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party.

“We have concrete principles, our main wish and task is not to allow war and the whole community of the international community should be mobilized with that purpose.

The starting point for us is the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. These are the principles by which we will guide. We will observe the rest of the events and take respective steps,” GD Chair said.

Kobakhidze added that all efforts were made to ensure security of Georgian citizens in Ukraine.
