GD Chair: Georgia’s inner and outer foes can’t breach peace or stop Bidzina Ivanishvili’s charity projects

Georgian Dream Chair Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday said “Georgia’s internal and external foes will not be able to breach the peace by political and financial blackmail; stop the economic progress, nor Bidzina Ivanishvili’s large-scale charity projects; Georgia will win.”

Kobakhidze echoed Imedi TV story over GD-founder and ex-PM Bidzina Ivanishvili’s charity project about “the large-scale agro-complex to breed endangered bird species and release them into nature, which make a special contribution to the preservation of Georgia’s biodiversity.”

In his Facebook post, Kobakhidze went on to say that “Georgia’s inner and outer ill-wishers call such a person – a philanthropist, who knows well the value of his country history and nature and simply loves this country – an oligarch.”

He added that “Georgian partners of Georgia’s foreign ill-wishers are stateless people who often openly fight against their country’s history and future.”
