Gakharia for Georgia’s Khvedeliani questions if technical obstacles may occur during Gakharia’s testimony

“Giorgi Gakharia was prepared on June 23 to answer the commission’s questions thoroughly. Of course, he is still ready today and will speak openly, addressing all inquiries,” stated Tata Khvedeliani, a member of the Gakharia for Georgia party.

According to Khvedeliani, the real concern lies not with Gakharia’s willingness to speak but with whether the commission itself will pose obstacles—specifically, whether they will create technical issues or disconnect the broadcast during his remote testimony.

“He will undoubtedly speak the truth. The pressing question is whether the investigative commission dares to listen fully to what Gakharia has to say, to hear the truth he will reveal. Will they intentionally complicate the process from a technical standpoint or disconnect the broadcast to silence his voice? That’s the core issue. Gakharia is prepared and ready to answer any questions posed within the scope of the commission,” Khvedeliani emphasised.

Former Interior Minister and former Prime Minister Gakharia’s remote testimony in the investigative commission is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
