Gakharia for Georgia and Lelo nominate Irakli Kupradze for Tbilisi Mayor

Gakharia for Georgia and Lelo–Strong Georgia parties have jointly nominated Irakli Kupradze as their Tbilisi mayoral candidate.

The nomination was announced at a ceremony in Rike Park, where Kupradze, Secretary General of Lelo–Strong Georgia, was officially presented by Aleko Elisashvili.

The two parties will contest the October 4 elections under the shared slogan: “Together, let’s take back our cities and villages.”

Speakers at the event included Tazo Datunashvili, Anna Buchukuri, Tata Khvedeliani, and Aleko Elisashvili.

Last month, Gakharia for Georgia and Lelo–Strong Georgia opposition parties signed a memorandum of cooperation for the upcoming elections.
