Fuel prices to be cut by 20-30 tetri until end of August, PM says

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili Monday said fuel importer companies pledged to dwindle prices by 20-30 tetri by the end of August, mentioning the companies earlier move to cut the price by 10 tetri.

The PM vowed to personally monitor this very issue.

The Head of the Government also recommended the Competition Agency to launch a relevant inquiry and “verify the integrity” of fuel importers.
