French Ambassador says Georgia's issue to remain on EU agenda for securing its European future
The French Ambassador to Georgia, Sheraz Gasri, emphasized the importance of the European Union’s continued focus on Georgia’s current situation. The Ambassador noted that the EU foreign ministers had a significant discussion about Georgia’s circumstances, reflecting the EU’s ongoing concern.
Ambassador Gasri highlighted that the topic would be revisited on June 27 at the summit of EU heads of state and governments. She expressed France’s and other EU members’ worries about recent developments in Georgia that seem to be diverting the country from its European path.
The Ambassador reiterated that maintaining Georgia on the EU’s agenda is crucial to halting these events and securing its European future.
