With the support of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia and the organization of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, free medical examinations were held for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in a compact settlement in Kutaisi.

According to the government’s press service, the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Giorgi Jincharadze, together with Health Minister of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Besik Kusidi, attended the campaign. Jincharadze inspected the examination process, spoke with IDP beneficiaries, and met with medical personnel.

As part of the campaign, around ten medical specialists from leading Tbilisi clinics provided various types of examinations. Beneficiaries also received prescribed medicines free of charge.

The Abkhazian government periodically organizes such medical campaigns to support displaced populations living in compact settlements across Georgia.
