France has put Georgia on the red list, Georgian Embassy to France reported on Friday.

While entering France, double-jabbed people should present the vaccine card with a QR code.

Travel documents should show that seven days passed after the second dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

Only vaccines authorized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) – Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson will be accepted;

Vaccinated visitors should also present a sworn document saying that they have no symptoms of COVID-19 infection in the last 48 hours, and have not been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to the journey.

As to non-vaccinated citizens, they should present negative PCR or Antigen-based test results taken in the past 48 hours; A sworn document saying that they have no symptoms of COVID-19 infection in the last 48 hours and have not been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to the journey.

They also have to fill a document pledging to adhere to France-made rules of quarantine and isolation. Non-vaccinated citizens from the red country list should book a place in advance (quarantine hotel or the state-assigned facility) at their own expense to enter a 10-day quarantine upon arrival in France.

Earlier today Georgia reported 4,031 coronavirus cases, 4,585 recoveries, and 73 deaths increasing the country’s total case tally to 536,202, among them 473,502 people recovered and 7,101 died.

As of August 27, 1, 095 069 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, among them, 345,315 are double-jabbed.
