Four mines in Chiatura closed due to worsening weather

Georgian Manganese temporarily closed four mines operating in Chiatura owing to worsening weather conditions.

As stated in the company’s statement, “the closure is preventive to ensure the safety of the employees.”

“Until possible security risks are assessed and recommendations are adopted, the work process will be halted,” it added.
