Forensic Department equipped with new drones
Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has equipped its Forensic-Criminalistics Department with new unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) for use in Tbilisi and across the country’s regions.
According to the ministry, forensic experts completed a specialized drone operation training course at the Emergency Management Service’s training facility. The program included both theoretical instruction and practical exercises.
The Interior Ministry said the use of drones at crime scenes will enable forensic specialists to provide investigators with high-quality aerial visual evidence, enhancing the documentation and analysis of investigations.
