Foreign trade turnover rises 7.5% to $15.5 billion in January–July

Georgia’s foreign trade turnover in goods reached $15.52 billion in January–July 2026, excluding undeclared trade, marking a 7.5% increase compared with the same period last year, according to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).

Exports amounted to $4.67 billion, up 21.6% year-on-year, while imports reached $10.85 billion, representing a 2.4% increase.

Georgia’s negative trade balance stood at $6.18 billion during the first seven months of 2026, accounting for 39.8% of total foreign trade turnover, according to Geostat.
