Foreign Relations Committee Chair: UNM exhausted its resources

“The National Movement exhausted its resources a long time ago. It will remain the party which is associated with violations of human rights, racketeering, physical abuse and seizure of property,” Chair of the parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee Nikoloz Samkharadze told the GPB First Channel.

According to Samkharadze, the society is watching a show within the UNM, which attempts to improve its rating and become the leading opposition party.

“These individuals are not attempting to rebrand the party in order to return to power, but rather to remain the number-one party within the opposition, where they have lost their leading position, and they fight with other parties precisely for that reason. What we are watching is a show staged with the aim of improving its rating and becoming the leading opposition party,” he said.
