Foreign Relations Committee Chair meets Ambassador of Belarus

Chair of the parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus, Nikolai Rogashchuk.

According to the press service of the Georgian Parliament, the parties discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as cooperation in the areas of trade and the economy.

During the meeting, they agreed to continue promoting cooperation between the Parliaments of Georgia and Belarus, including within the framework of the parliamentary friendship groups.

Nikoloz Samkharadze thanked the Ambassador for Belarus’s support for Georgia’s territorial integrity.

Irakli Kadagishvili, Head of the Georgia–Belarus Parliamentary Friendship Group attended the meeting.
