Foreign Relations Committee Chair hosts Qatari Ambassador to Georgia

Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee at the Parliament of Georgia, Nikoloz Samkharadze, met with the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Georgia, Hassan bin Ahmed Al-Mutawa.

The parties discussed bilateral political relations as well as the expansion of economic cooperation. The importance of strengthening inter-parliamentary relations was underscored, according to the Parliament’s press office.

The meeting also touched on the regional security situation, current events in the South Caucasus and the Middle East.

Nikoloz Samkharadze invited the members of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Qatari Legislative Body to Georgia for an official visit.
