Foreign Minister meets Serbia’s Foreign Ministry State Secretary
Georgia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili held a meeting with Damjan Jović, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, who is visiting Georgia with a delegation as part of bilateral political consultations.
According to Georgia’s Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed cooperation between Georgia and Serbia and highlighted the importance of reciprocal high-level visits.
“The sides also emphasized the importance of deepening sectoral cooperation between the two countries, including in the area of trade and economic relations. Particular attention was paid to the ongoing negotiations aimed at concluding a free trade agreement.
The sides reaffirmed their strong support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the two countries,” the Foreign Ministry said.
