Foreign Minister – Everybody is unanimous that Georgia is an exemplary European country
A political decision is not made yet but everybody agrees that Georgia is ready for NATO membership, and we have to do our best to be ready for this moment when it comes — Georgian Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani said when evaluating the meetings he held on February 14 within the framework of the 56th Munich Security Conference.
According to Zalkaliani, it was underlined that Georgia has all the practical tools for being a NATO member. “There are no claims against Georgia. On the contrary, everybody is unanimous about the fact that Georgia is an exemplary European country,” Zalkaliani said.
The Georgian Foreign Minister is paying a visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, where he is attending the 56th Munich International Security Conference on February 14-15.
