For Georgia’s Pharulava: It is impossible to predict GD’s steps or link them to any logic
“It is impossible to predict Georgian Dream’s steps or link them to any logic,” Giga Pharulava, a member of the Gakharia for Georgia party, told the GPB First Channel.
According to Pharulava, they had expected the constitutional lawsuit to seek a ban on their party.
“Nothing changes for us. We are continuing the political struggle we have been engaged in. The only thing that changes is our motivation to continue the fight in the political arena even more strongly,” Pharulava said.
For context, the ruling Georgian Dream party intends to file a Constitutional Court lawsuit seeking a ban on the opposition party For Georgia, led by former Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia. Georgian Dream has already filed a constitutional claim seeking to declare the activities of the United National Movement, the Coalition for Change, Strong Georgia – Lelo, and the Federalists unconstitutional and banned.
