For Georgia’s MP Parulava: UNM will not return to power; public rejected them in 2012 when they felt strongest

“The United National Movement cannot return to power; the public gave them an unequivocal ‘no’ back in 2012,” stated MP Giga Parulava, a member of the Gakharia for Georgia party.

According to Parulava, the electorate turned its back on the party at the precise moment the United National Movement considered itself at peak strength.

Today, through its rhetoric, narrative, agenda, and actions, the United National Movement directly echoes Georgian Dream propaganda, reinforcing one another. This party has been in crisis continuously since 2012,” declared Giga Parulava.

Nanuka Zhorzholiani stated on a TV Pirveli broadcast: “If Misha says he is re-entering politics, becoming the United National Movement’s primary political figure and candidate for Prime Minister, that will simplify the rules of the game.”
