For Georgia's Pilpani: Boycott was mistake, citizens have repeatedly seen damage caused by irresponsible decisions
The fact that Georgia is in a much worse situation today than a year ago is the responsibility of both the Georgian Dream and the United National Movement, who started it all with a boycott and culminated it on October 4, said Vika Pilpani, a member of the Gakharia for Georgia party.
According to Pilpani, a special operation was organized on October 4 against the citizens and the state of Georgia, which only harmed the country and its people.
“The Prime Minister comes out and says that he has an agent — Anita — whom he pays and who does everything the Georgian Dream wants. On the other hand, former President Mikheil Saakashvili accuses the “new” of receiving 40 million before the elections and using it to participate in them.
I have a question: why do Georgian Dream supporters ask whether the government is paying the National Movement to do what it wants? And I ask opposition-minded people — why aren’t they concerned that those who claim to be fighting Bidzina Ivanishvili are, in fact, doing so with Ivanishvili’s money? Or are they fighting alongside Kobakhidze’s agent, Anita?
This was a special operation planned in the Georgian Dream office and executed by the National Movement. These irresponsible politicians have brought the country to this point. You cannot boycott elections in a state — there is no alternative to elections. The boycott was a serious mistake from the very beginning, as citizens have repeatedly witnessed the consequences of such reckless decisions,” said Pilpani.
