FM to attend meeting dedicated to 20th anniversary of 2004 EU enlargement
Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili will visit Brussels on April 29-30 to participate in the event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the 2004 enlargement, when 10 new Member States joined the European Union. The Belgian presidency of the Council of the European Union organised the event.
FM Darchiashvili will partake in the informal meeting of the General Affairs Council (GAC) and will also meet with Belgian Foreign Minister, Aja Labib; Deputy Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel; the Vice President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency, Vera Jourova; and Hungarian Minister for European Union Affairs, János Bóka.
The Georgian Minister will also meet with the Acting Head of the EC Cabinet and the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations.
