FM says PM's working visit to Germany to give additional impetus to cooperation with partners

“Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s working visit to Germany will give additional impetus to the cooperation with our partners,” said Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili.

The FM remarked that the PM’s participation in the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2024) reconfirms that Georgia stands firm and is consistent in support of Ukraine.

“The conference held in Germany, dedicated to the restoration and assistance of Ukraine, organized by Germany and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is another demonstration of support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. It was significant that the head of the Georgian government and the delegation partook.

The PM’s participation in the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2024) reconfirms that Georgia stands firm and is consistent in support of Ukraine.

The PM, alongside world leaders, among them Olaf Scholz and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, had the opportunity to take part in round-table discussions. We spoke about our support to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, about the efforts Georgia had made since the beginning of the war. Also, it is important that the Georgian PM had the chance to speak to the German President at the reception. I believe Irakli Kobakhidze’s working visit to Germany will give additional impetus to the cooperation with our partners,” Darchiashvili said.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze participates in the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2024) in Berlin on June 11-12 alongside world leaders.
